Fox affiliates fund Fox Lies. But a station manager or passerby may tell you the affiliate has nothing to do with Fox “News” and the newscasts from this station are independently produced. This is basically true. However, every year, the stations you are protesting at, along with the other 200+ affiliates, combine to pay Fox and Rupert Murdoch billions of dollars a year in affiliate fees. Source
STAND OUT
Signs should quickly communicate what you’re protesting about. Think about the power of your signs in photographs that will be shared on social media or photographed by the press.

Photos of protests spread widely on social media!
Share photos and videos to social media: Twitter, Tik Tok, Facebook, etc.
Tag @truthoverfox and use the hashtags #FoxLies and #DetoxFromFox with every post.

If there’s foot traffic, hand out flyers.
If there's mostly car traffic, get them honking - have a sign that says “Honk to stop Fox lies.”
BE PREPARED
Bring water / snacks / sunscreen / umbrella.
Bring a charged cell phone to take pictures & video.
ADVERTISE
Maximize your impact. Be sure to tell any local newsrooms, TV & radio stations about your protest. See if they’re interested in having a reporter/photographer attend.
